My name is Ahmed “Muin” Abu Amsha, a musician, sound engineer, composer, and music educator from Gaza. For years, I’ve dedicated my life to spreading music as a message of peace and love. I truly believe that art is a universal language — one that can cross borders and connect hearts beyond differences.
During war, displacements, and destruction, I founded a musical group called “Gaza Birds Singing (GBS)”, made up of displaced children and talented music teachers from Gaza. Together, we sing for love, for freedom, for life. Through music, we try to give children their voice back and offer hope against the rubble.
Our group is not just a musical project. It’s a human cry that tells the world: We love life. We love music. We want to live with dignity and peace like everyone else.
My deepest wish is to live in a safe place with my family where I can continue my musical and humanitarian work freely. I dream of sharing our music with the world, traveling, performing, and being a voice of beauty from Gaza — not a voice of war.
We don’t carry weapons — we carry melodies. We don’t spread hate — we spread love. We believe the world can be a better place, if only it would listen to the voice of art.
Thank you for your love and support.

Songs From The Rubble
Songs From the Rubble is an ongoing project by Palestinian musician Ahmed Muin Abu Amsha with the support of a global network of friends and supporters.
This is a collection of songs that Ahmed has composed & recorded since 2023, as well as re-releases of earlier work remixed in collaboration with musicians & producers around the world who share his love for music and desire for peace & freedom for all.
Our friend Ahmed – a renowned musician, producer and teacher in Gaza – has been displaced ten times (at this writing) along with with his wife (a teacher), their five children and extended family. Accompanied by his family and armed only with a guitar, he has been bringing psychological support through music & education into the lives of children and adults wherever they are.
We are a global web of friends – moved by Ahmed’s energy and love – who aim to support him & to see him achieve his dreams as a musician, educator, humanitarian, and cultural ambassador.
Many of us met Ahmed through his work as a teacher and musician with the Delia Arts Foundation and the Edward Said Conservatory of Music, both in Gaza. He is a ray of bright light whose resilience and love of music and teaching is inspiring. His big smile is always present no matter how hard things get.
As the humanitarian crisis grows increasingly urgent, we are mobilizing efforts to help Ahmed and his family evacuate Gaza and find safety so they can continue their work in in a safe and secure place.
We are reaching out to the world seeking evacuation, legal entry & resettlement assistance. If you or someone you know can help, please reach back.
As always, sharing is caring. Maybe you know someone who knows someone.
Thank you.
